Although it is not a requirement, the International Society of Arboriculture recommends that tree risk assessments be conducted by a current trained ISA certified arborist. Certification can be a useful credential which implies legitimacy however, it does not represent actual knowledge, skill, experience, ethics, or business standards. Ben Sanford has over 20 years in the tree care industry and is currently not a certified arborist. He was a certified arborist in the early years of his career, and since his certification he has continued to maintain high ethical standards in tree care and business and continues to serve the community by educating clients in the best practices of tree care. Tarzan’s Tree Service follows ISA standards, ANSI A300 standards and Best Management Practices for tree risk, assessment as closely as possible. Generally, a Level 1 assessment is offered to visually inspect a client’s property. If a potential hazard is detected, then a Level 2 assessment is provided for those specific cases. We do work with, consult with and subcontract other certified arborists for any work that requires those credentials.

2. No responsibility is assumed in respect of legal matters.

3. Care has been taken to obtain any necessary information from reliable sources. As far as possible, all information , data and test results have been verified, however, the accuracy of any information provided by others cannot be guaranteed and no responsibility is assumed.

4. The consultant shall not be required to attend court or give testimony by reason of this document without a subsequent contractual arrangement. An additional fee will be charged for such services.

5. Loss of, or alteration to any part of this report invalidates the entire report. Report is invalidated unless presented in its entirety.

6. This report, or any copies thereof, is for the exclusive use of the client. No rights of reproduction nor publication of any part are implied without prior consent of the author. This report and any parts of it shall not be conveyed by anyone, including the client, to the public by way of news, sales, advertising, public relations or any other media without the prior consent of the author.

7. Information included in this report is limited to items specifically examined at the time of the inspection. Unless otherwise stated, inspection is limited to visual examination from the ground without dissection, excavation or coring.

8. No guarantee is expressed nor implied that problems or deficiencies will not arise in either plants or property in the future.

9. Extent of liability shall be the cost of this report.
